My New Year’s resolution?
To blog more.
So to usher in 2011, let’s recap 2010.
The Saints won the Superbowl,
kicking off the happiest Mardi Gras New Orleans has ever seen.
We finished Miller’s Tale in anticipation of a March 2011 broadcast on PBS.
We started a new film, Can’t Stop The Water, and fell quickly in love with the wondrous landscape of Isle de Jean Charles.
Then BP came along and spoiled it.
We made a delightful film for the St. Charles Avenue Presbyterian Church
and rocked out with The Revivalists.
Our favorite filmmakers and dear friends, Chris Hegedus and D A Pennebaker came to visit us.

And as we usually do when we’re together, we ate
and drank our way through town.
But the greatest thing to happen in 2010?
Is that we decided to expand Cottage Films.
Jason and I will be traveling to China soon to pick up our son, future auteur and CEO of Cottage Films.
Please meet Sam!
I have a feeling 2011 will be even better than last year!
XO,
Rebecca
